Dr. Anshad A S is a distinguished academician, researcher, and educational leader with over 17 years of experience in engineering education, academic administration, and institutional development. He currently serves as the Principal of MES Institute of Technology & Management, Chathannoor, Kollam.
He holds a Ph.D. and Master's Degree in Electronics Engineering with First Class and Distinction. An approved Research Guide of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), Kerala, Dr. Anshad has made significant contributions to teaching, research, accreditation, and quality assurance in higher education.
Before joining MESITAM, he served as Principal of John Cox Memorial CSI Institute of Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, where he successfully led the institution to secure NBA Accreditation in 2025. He also held key academic leadership positions including Vice Principal, Principal (In-charge), KTU Coordinator, and Examination Coordinator at Malabar College of Engineering & Technology.
Dr. Anshad's research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Communication Systems, Cryptography, and Medical Electronics. He has published several research papers in SCI, Scopus, and UGC-indexed journals and conferences. He is also an inventor with multiple Indian and international patents to his credit.
An accomplished author, Dr. Anshad has written books on Artificial Intelligence, Research Methodology, Intellectual Property Rights, and emerging technologies. He is an active member of professional bodies including IEEE, FIETE, CSI, ISTE, AIMEE, etc.
