Founded in 2009

MES Institute of Technology and Management was established in 2009 under the management of Muslim Educational Society(MES) Regd..The College is located at Kollam District near Thirumukku, Chathannoor, Kerala state. Muslim Educational Society (MES) Regd., founded in the year 1964, is the biggest educational agency of the Muslim community in India having hundreds of institutions.

MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram, the first self financing engineering college with minority status in the state of Kerala started in the year 1994, managed by MES is widely acknowledged as one of the top institutions for imparting technical education in the state.

Management

MES Institute of Technology and Management is managed by Muslim Educational Society (MES) Regd., which is the biggest educational agency of the Muslim community in India having hundreds of institutions. The society was started under the great leadership of late Dr P.K. Abdul Ghafoor in 1964 at Calicut.

As on today it is the largest Muslim service organisation in the country. It not only has Units in each and every District in Kerala, but also has spread to the neighboring states like Tamilnadu. It has also well established units in the Middle East countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, etc.

MES Institute of Technology and Management is under the general control of MES College of Engineering Kuttippuram Management Committee, with the following office bearers.

Career Guidance Placement Cell (CGPC)

Career Guidance Placement Cell nurture for development of skill and thereby improves the employability and deployability of the passing out students. It offer personality development programs to make the students compatible to any environment. The placement cell organizes on –campus and off-campus placements and pre placement training programs through repeated tests and group discussions to make the students confident to face placement tyranny.

MESITAM TBI (Technology Business Incubator)

MESITAM Technology Business Incubator (MESITAM TBI) is an initiative of National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) and Kerala Start up Mission. The aim is to develop institutional mechanism to create Entrepreneurial culture in academic institutions to foster growth of innovation and entrepreneurship amongst the faculty and students.

The mission of the incubator is to stimulate the establishment and growth of technology-based start –up companies and other compatible businesses. By fulfilling this mission, the incubator would contribute to job creation, and provide facilities for enhanced economic health to the region.

Y-NOT

Y-NOT is a startup Company mainly concentrates on Neo Tree (Portable Traffic Lightning System). The team won the first prize of Rs.50000/- in Make-A-Thon Conducted by ICT Academy Kerala. Team Y-NOT filed a patent on Neo Tree.

Redu Society

Redu Society is a Startup Company mainly concentrating on Revolution in Education, Conducting Trainings , Providing Guidance Hardware at free of cost and also provides guidance and motivation to build new ideas. Now Redu Society is planned to incorporate with one of the MNC’s-Corporate 360.

MESITAM Skill Developing Platform of Kerala (SDPK)

This College is one among the few colleges selected by KSITIL & IT Mission Kerala to impart job oriented practical training programmes for both students and Faculty.
