Scientia 2024, Kerala's largest inter-collegiate quiz competition held on 28th February 2024 at MES Institute of Technology and Management, Chathannoor
Organized by the Fatima Mata Civil Service Academy in association with College Union.
MES Institute of Technology and Management organized Onam celebrations, MESONAM-2023, on 26th August with an official inauguration ceremony followed by a procession and various cultural events. The programme was started with a silent prayer followed by a welcome speech. Prof, Anees Beegom, Coordinator, Extra Curricular Activities welcomed the gathering. Dr J. Sreekumar delivered the presidential address. The function was formally inaugurated by Dr,Alexander Jacob, former DGP. He rapted the audience by presenting various myths related to Onam in an enchanting way. Mr.Nageeb ,Chairman of the management committee, delivered the keynote address .Er.J.Kamarsaman, Secretary management committee blessed the audience with his Onam message. Er.J.Muhammed Aslam, Legal Advisor, MES District committee addressed the audience, vRinshad, Student coordinator delivered the vote of thanks.Seventh semester Civil engineering students delighted the audience with a sweet onappattu, Seventh semester computer science students performed Thiruvathira. Bands like Chendamelom, Thambolam etc were performed along with Kavediyattom, A Competition of Athappokkalom was conducted and the winner group were awarded with a trophy. Onam games like Uriyadi and vadamvali were conducted after the delicious onasadya. The whole celebration were ended at 4.30pm with a pleasant note.
